How the CV Builder handles your details

The short version: what you type into your CV stays in your browser and never reaches us. We keep a scrambled record of your purchase so the app knows you paid. Nothing else.

What you give us

Whatever you type into the wizard: name, contact details, city, work history, education, languages, certifications. If your airline asks, also a photo and physical details (age, nationality, height, arm reach, weight, visible tattoos). You choose what to fill in.

What happens when you click Generate

1. Your details travel over an encrypted connection to our CV engine.
2. The engine passes your text to the AI service that writes the professional wording of your CV.
3. The wording comes back to your browser, where you review and edit it.
4. Your CV files (PDF and Word) are made on your own device and never uploaded anywhere.

Your photo

The AI never sees or analyses your photo. It only goes into the CV file itself.

Before your photo leaves your device, we strip its hidden metadata (EXIF), including any GPS location your camera saved.

What we store

Almost nothing, and nothing you typed into your CV. We set no cookies, and nothing here follows you around the internet. Your CV details live in this tab and disappear when you close it.

Six small technical exceptions, none of which contains anything you wrote in your CV:

• To stop abuse, the engine counts how many CVs each internet address generates. The counter deletes itself within one hour.
• The review step can show a small human check, run for us by our security provider. It reads technical signals from your browser to tell humans from bots. It never sees what you typed.
• We count steps, not people. When you reach a step, such as the review or download screen, the tool adds 1 to that step's counter for the day. Nothing travels with it: no name, no email, no number that marks the visit as yours.
• Your purchase. When you buy, we keep a scrambled fingerprint of the email address you bought with, and how many CVs you have left. The fingerprint goes one way only: we cannot turn it back into your address, and your address is never saved. This record has no expiry date. We keep it until you ask us to delete it, even after a refund, so we still recognise you if you buy again.
• Getting you in. When you ask for a login link, we make a temporary code that stops working after 15 minutes, and your browser receives a pass that keeps you signed in on that device for 90 days. Both are random, and neither contains your email address or anything you typed.
• Keeping the login honest. We count login requests for an hour, per email and per internet address, so nobody can use the login form to flood someone's inbox. We also note your order number for a year, so a repeated message from the checkout cannot hand out extra CVs.

The AI service

Our contract with the provider says it does not use what you send to train its models. The data is kept briefly for safety monitoring, then deleted.

Who is responsible

CabinCrewdemy (Georgiana Copin) runs this tool and decides how it handles your details. Three companies help: our hosting and security provider runs and protects the service; the AI provider writes the wording; and our email provider sends the login email, receiving only your email address, never anything you typed into your CV. The hosting and AI providers are US companies certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Your login emails are sent from a European data region.

We name them by what they do rather than who they are. If you want the actual names, write to sky@cabincrewdemy.com and we will tell you.

Your choices and your rights

• Nothing is sent before you tick the consent box on the review step.
• The photo and physical details are optional. The wizard tells you when an airline expects them.
• Under EU law (GDPR) you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. What we hold is the scrambled record of your purchase. Write to sky@cabincrewdemy.com and we will delete it. One honest warning: deleting it also ends your access, because that record is how the app recognises you.
• You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

The CV Builder is made for adults applying for cabin crew jobs. It is not aimed at children.
